TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS PRESENT 'THE LAST DJ' ON THE MUSIC CHOICE CONCERT SERIES

MITCH SCHNEIDER/LATHUM NELSON - A special TOM PETTY and the HEARTBREAKERS performance will be featured January 27 through February 9 on the Music Choice Concert Series, reaching over 25 million cable homes nationally.

The presentation consists of in-studio performances of seven songs from the current album THE LAST DJ, including the title track, "Have Love Will Travel," "Dreamville," "Joe," "Money Becomes King," and "Lost Children." In addition, two songs, "Like a Diamond" and "Can't Stop the Sun," are from a recent concert at The Grand Olympic Auditorium in downtown Los Angeles in which PETTY and the HEARTBREAKERS--MIKE CAMPBELL (guitars), BENMONT TENCH (keyboards), RON BLAIR (bass), SCOTT THURSTON (guitars, harmonica, backing vocals) and STEVE FERRONE (drums)--are backed by a 40-piece orchestra conducted by Jon Brion.
